Navratri, which means “nine nights,” is a celebration of the divine feminine energy. It is believed that during these nine nights, the Goddess Durga descends to Earth to bless her devotees with strength, wisdom, and prosperity. Each day of Navratri is dedicated to a different form of the Goddess, and prayers and rituals are performed to honor her.
